There must be a simple answer to this, but I really need help to dissect this and get my brain around it.
Personally, I just don't find the whole concept very appealing. Telling the world that I just spilled a milkshake on my new couch or just got home from profusely sweating at the gym just to count how many "likes" I get seems pretty pointless to me. I don't believe I would be
seriously envious of someone who had several hundred more "friends" than me. So what's the catch? Surely there are healthier ways for a person to be affirmed. I really hope all the Facebook lovers out there aren't too offended.
